The final year of the legendary air-cooled Porsche 911, this 1998 993 Carrera 4S represents one of the most desirable configurations of the era. Finished in rare Zenith Blue Metallic over Classic Gray, this example pairs the wide-body presence of the Turbo with the usability of Carrera. 

Originally delivered new through Porsche of Carlsbad in San Diego, California, this is a two-owner car from new. It spent its early life in Southern California before being acquired in 2002 by its second owner in the Lake Tahoe area, where it was enthusiast-owned and thoughtfully developed over the next two decades.

This 993 4s has been  properly sorted with a focus on driving performance and mechanical integrity. Most notably, in 2022 ( ~500 miles ago) the engine underwent a comprehensive case-split rebuild and was enlarged to 3.8 liters by Jess Latin of Reno Rennsport . The build includes 993 RS specification camshafts, an RS-spec clutch and lightweight flywheel, and a custom calibration by Chris Carroll of TurboKraft. The result is a responsive, eager flat-six producing approximately 325 horsepower with strong midrange and an unmistakably analog character.

At the same time, the transmission was fully rebuilt with new synchronizers and refreshed internals, ensuring precise and confidence-inspiring shifts. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, giving the car a planted yet compliant feel appropriate for both spirited driving and road use.
