2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S

This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S is finished in Guards Red over Black leather. It was originally delivered through The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida, where it remained for the first seven years of its life and received regular service. The car was then sold to an enthusiast owner in Connecticut, where it continued to be serviced by Porsche Hartford. That owner drove and enjoyed the car during the warmer months while maintaining it to a very high standard throughout his nine year ownership.

We acquired the car from its most recent owner, a serious Porsche collector and enthusiast here in North Carolina. The only reason for the sale is that it is being replaced by a newer GT3. Shortly after purchasing the car at around 80,000 miles in early 2025, he set out to make an already excellent example even better.

One of the primary goals was improving the daily drive-ability while not compromising on performance. While the factory PASM system was impressive when new, it can feel firm and antiquated compared to modern Porsche models. To address this, he installed a set of Motion Control Suspension two way dampers(~$7k alone) The suspension was then paired with a professional alignment and corner balance, resulting in a car that feels far more composed and precise on the road.

The mechanical updates were just as extensive. A new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and rear main seal were installed. The spark plugs, ignition coils, battery, shifter cables, and shifter bushings were also replaced. Much of this work was completed as preventative maintenance and reflects the owner's commitment to keeping the car in top condition.

All major service work was performed by RennPart in Winston Salem, North Carolina, a recognized expert on the 996 and 997 platform.

The result is a Carrera S that looks, drives, and performs far better than its mileage would suggest. It is a truly sorted example that feels tight, responsive, and ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
