We are proud to offer this '96 993 Carrera once again to the Porsche community. We acquired this car in late 2024 and dedicated several weeks to sorting, servicing, and adding our favorite touches that make the 993 that much more confident on the road. During that process, a great local customer purchased the car. A shift in priorities has now led him to the decision to sell it.

The original 17" Cup wheels were replaced in favor of 18" Turbo Twists, which were completely stripped and refinished in "Felgensilber" (9A1) Porsche OEM Silver before being wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. We also fitted a Porsche Classic PCCM+ stereo along with our bespoke custom cord box mount.

A comprehensive suspension refresh included Koni Special Active shock absorbers paired with factory M033 springs, along with all new hardware and top hats. We've found this setup offers an excellent ride height without compromising ride quality around town. New OEM headlights were installed, the nose of the car was refinished at Sonderwerks, and the driver's door check was repaired the correct way.

Recent Service

In February 2026, we noticed some minor oil sweating from the engine and found the power steering rack was leaking. We performed an engine reseal along with the installation of a rebuilt power steering rack sourced from Vertex Auto.

With the engine lowered, both the upper and lower valve cover gaskets were replaced, the SAI ports were cleaned, timing cover gaskets were replaced, new spark plugs were installed, and all associated hardware was renewed. Additionally, all three drive belts were replaced, an annual oil service was completed, and the rear brake rotors, pads, shims, and wear sensors were replaced.

As these cars are now three decades old, this is an important service that eventually becomes necessary regardless of mileage.

This is a fully sorted 993 that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The A/C blows ice cold, the brake and clutch pedals inspire confidence, and the refreshed suspension makes this one of those cars that simply feels right.
